Totally messed up my delivery and made wrong and incomplete delivery.

I had ordered a TV and a sound Bar from LG which was shipped to me through Rhenus Home Delivery services. However they messed up my delivery, they delivered me 2 TV’s (one mines and one someone else’s ). I tried to explain this to the delivery people but they did not understand and dumped someone else’s tv at my place. I haven’t received the sound bar yet.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. We have been waiting all afternoon and still no delivery. Phone numbers are useless as is their customer service via WhatsApp. They supply the drivers phone number but they do not pick up. Appalling, terrible, dreadful service.
The driver finally rang 5 hours after the end of the expected time of delivery, He could not make himself understood. He said he could not deliver it as the postcode would not work, now that is a lie as all other companies deliver without a problem. I have no bed and no idea when and if I get it delivered. Absolutely appalling service.

Terrible experience! (More than once) Refuse to take packages upstairs (no lift), rude, unprofessional and damaged packages. Or, in other occasions, just say they tried to deliver but no calls at all. Avoid.

Terrible customer service

I had a planned delivery of some furniture from dusk booked for today (27/06/2025). Rhenus sent me a message a few days before confirming the delivery date and advising I’d get an estimated window the day before.

By Friday morning I’d still not had the message so I tried to reach out in office hours to their WhatsApp number. This is where it got frustrating, getting through to a person is difficult not all chatbot options lead anywhere and keep saying come back after 8am to talk to someone (it was after 8am)

When I finally got through to someone they confirmed they won’t be delivering my order as booked and confirmed. Wednesday was the earliest they would try to deliver.
I asked why it was suddenly not going to be delivered but just kept getting the same “as advised this will not be delivered today, we apologise for the inconvenience caused” message.

This wouldn’t have been so bad but having to randomly press chatbot options for 15 minutes before made the whole experience ridiculous.

Very poor service

Rhenus missed the promised time slot by 2 hours. Their tracking system indicated they were way behind schedule but they did not phone me to reschedule.
I am still waiting for a new delivery date despite chasing them on the phone.

RHENUS Germany is the worst service ever!!!!

Worse service ever!!!!! I was supposed to receive a parcel today between 7am and 14pm when I called customer service they told me I would arrivé between 16-17 and when the van arrived finally, the truck parcked for 1 min in front of my window just the time for me to tell them they have a parcel for me and I was waiting all day, they dared saying they were waiting for 1h in front of my place when I saw them just arriving, and asked if they could give me my parcel while they were there, they repeatedly said that they called my and rang the bell of my house when actually nobody called me on my phone or Rand the bell of my apartment and they drove off, while casually smoking their cigarette! what kind of service is that?! How unprofessional! And each time I ordered something with Ikea Germany, each time I had such a shitty service, really if I could give even less than 1 star that would be even more accurate regarding the services RHENUS GERMANY is giving! And I have been charged 50€ for that!!!!!! I better have my money back!

Rhenus is the reason I will never buy from IKEA again

Rhenus is hands down the most incompetent and unreliable logistics company I’ve ever dealt with.

They were scheduled to pick up a return from my home (twice!) and both times they simply didn’t show up. No call, no message, no explanation. Just a no-show and dead silence.

What’s the point of scheduling an appointment (a 7-hour time window actually) if you have no intention of honoring it? Just a huge waste of customer time.

You cannot reach them directly. There’s no phone number, no tracking, no escalation path. It’s a black hole. They give a tracking option on their website but try inputting the number and the system throws an error. How convenient.

And in previous deliveries, when their drivers did show up, they were rude, dismissive, and openly unwilling to do their job. Complaining about distance from the curb, refusing to carry items, and acting like it was a personal favor to help at all. My girlfriend literally had to beg them just to do what they were paid for.

The coordination between Rhenus and their retail partners — in my case, IKEA — is nonexistent. It’s clear they operate in silos with no accountability and no regard for the customer experience.

A company this disorganized and disconnected has no business handling returns or deliveries for any major retailer. I strongly recommend staying away from them.

My sister ordered a table for me and I awaited an email to arrange a delivery date…despite numerous attempts to contact them via their telephone and WhatsApp ( where you can’t actually speak to a real human being ) and get given specific dates on their email system which are not suitable…I have tried all their numbers today and they are just cutting off…think I’ll get the order cancelled and a refund…might be collecting my pension by then! Not impressed by their ‘system’ of working…don’t recommend….

Rude service desk lady

I am writing even before receiveing the delivery. A lady calls me today for the scheduling appointment for delivery and in the end sarcastically says «I should learn German». And the entire conversation she talked as if she is doing me a favor. If you want to service only German speaking customers, Please inform it to your vendors and stop putting the customers down. Ever heard of diversity?

I should give zero star if there is no choice, because the service is not good. too lazy, just gave me a claiming card for what I bought at ikea. They know that I’m too far from the rewe branch, and I don’t have a car. That’s why I ordered online and had it delivered, I even paid for delivery and then it didn’t deliver.

I have ordered my furniture from IKEA…

I have ordered my furniture from IKEA at 13th January for 1st of February delivery, which works Rhenus for delivery services. Rhenus refused to deliver my order in 1st of February out of parking place issue, which to be honest I partially aggree, because I had a lot of furniture to be delivered and the distance was not too much but it eas not too less as well so I understood. But then they told me they will deliver in 3rd of February in a smaller car which would fix all the problems because my apartment has a underground parking space. They didn’t deliver my furniture, they didn’t even told me they won’t be able to deliver it. I waited for pretty much all they and I wasn’t able to reach out to them, and now I will be out of furniture for 5 days in Monday and I don’t even know when will my order be delivered. This is probably the worst thing that any delivery company can ever do as they not only didn’t deliver my order, they also don’t tell me when they will deliver it. Simply outrageous.

Did not ring the bell and blames the customer

The delivery team arrived half an hour after the scheduled 3-hour delivery slot, which was not an issue. I promptly cleared the hallway and opened the doors to ensure easy access. However, after several minutes with no doorbell, I looked out the window and saw the delivery team getting back into their vehicle and driving away without even attempting the delivery.

I immediately contacted customer service and was disappointed to be met with blame, being told I must have missed the bell. This is highly unlikely—my doorbell is very loud, and I was specifically waiting for the delivery. I strongly believe the team never rang and simply chose not to come up. I live on the 9th floor of an easily accessible apartment complex with functioning elevators. It appears they just didn’t want to make the effort.

What’s worse is that customer service offered no apology or resolution, just blame. I had already rearranged my living space in preparation for the delivery and now I have to live in disarray for several more days until a new slot becomes available.

This experience was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I expected better service, both from the delivery team and customer support. At the very least, some acknowledgment and accountability would have gone a long way.

The worst experiance ever

The worst experiance ever. I had Ikea delivery with this company. I booked two parking spots, the, closest ones to my place. The truck arrived and claimed that it was not possible to park. However I do have pictures of Parking slot and the car where one can easily say that it is possible to park. Then drivers just left. Within 5 minutes, i found another big parkplatz even closer to my door. This was not the option before but construction workers arrived and told me that I could park for 1 hour. I called the driver (after 6 minutes they left) to tell to comeback but no response at all.

No empathy from the drivers when I explained the emergency of my situation. The driver always come up with different reason to cancel the delivery.

I would not recommend the company service to anyone.
