These people expect you to wait from 8 AM to 8 PM just to get a delivery and only to get a call at 7:30 AM stating they cam I was nowhere to be found which is definetely a lie. Horrible customer service literally not a single reasonable person spoken to. Will never use this hell ever again.

Delivery was late one hour but in email…

Delivery was late one hour but in email I got strict termin ofcourse I understand the traffic but still…
There is no option where you can change options for delivery when there is no one in the house, for example connected to my house is a big garage and on the garage door I left printed a big note just leave the package there and thank you.
After I got an email that delivery is not possible and custumer care service will contact me next day for another termin, well I am at work every day and I am not able to speak on the phone.
I sent straight away an email that I am at home every day after 17.00 or Saturday so they can deliver at that time but there is no answer.
I do not know what to say just completely unsatisfied….

Disaster..

We have been waiting for our Washing Machine to be delivered to our address in Munich since weeks. There is no way to reach them. Disaster. Not answering emails and no status update. It is extremely urgent and they are basically ghosting us. Horrible experience.

Unresponsive

I received notification that my package arrived in the delivery region after a couple of days, but I was never contacted about the delivery. I had to reach out to them multiple times. When I finally managed to speak with someone, we agreed on a delivery date; however, the package was not delivered on that day.
I called to inquire about the status, but I was given no explanation and informed that I could not reschedule the delivery myself. Instead, they would call me the following day. Unfortunately, they did not call, and when I attempted to reach them again, there was no answer.

A disaster / Un desastre

An absolute disaster. There’s no way to contact this company in Spain. They do not reply when you fill out the online form. A bot will give you standard replies on WhatsApp, and when it says it will transfer you to an agent, they never answer either.
I’ve been waiting for them to call me for weeks and nothing. A complete disaster.
Furthermore, in the replies to reviews, the customer is asked to contact Rhenus Spain since this profile is for the German company. Fair enough, but it’s impossible to do so.
If there is a way, PLEASE let us know beyond simply telling us to contact Rhenus Home Delivery Spain… we’re already trying.

Un desastre. En España no hay forma de contactar a esta empresa. Rellenas el formulario online y no contestan. En Whatsapp hay un robot, y cuando dice que te pasa con un agente, tampoco contestan. Esperando a que me llamen desde hace semanas y nada. Un auténtico desastre. Además, en esta web y en las contestaciones a las reseñas, se le pide al consumidor que contacte con Rhenus España ya que este perfil es de Alemania, pero es imposible hacerlo, no hay forma de hacerlo. Si la hay, por favor especifíquenla más allá de decir que nos pongamos en contacto con Rhenus Home Delivery España…ya lo estamos intentando hacer.

Absolutely terrible service at first, second attempt went smooth

Absolutely terrible service. They were supposed to deliver Ikea kitchen installation pieces to our Berlin apartment and they claimed the 50m away parking spot was not close enough and didn’t do the delivery. Their attitude was absolutely terrible and they even lied. When they were waiting at the end of the street( cause they dodged the work they needed to do right?! they were chilling at the end of the street) I told them a parking car left and there is more room on the street, he said he will turn and come to the one way street out apartment is on, started driving didn’t come back. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

After the bad first experience on 4th Jan 2024 in Zehlendorf, they sent a much more competent team on 8th Jan 2024. Second delivery went very smooth, I want to thank the second delivery team a lot, they were very nice. It is such a relief to have this kitchen items delivered.

Worst delivery experience. Wasted 2 times

I bought a 3 person couch from Maisons du Monde which contracts Rhenus Home for delivery. This turned out to be my worst experience with any delivery company.

1st time the 2 delivery guys claimed that it might be too narrow to carry the couch package to 3rd floor and pressured me to sign the delivery completion so they can leave the couch on the ground floor and i figured out carrying up myself. If 2 guys can’t carry the couch to 3rd floor, how could they expect me who weights just 49kg to ‘figure out’ myself? Not mention keeping pressuring me to sign off the delivery. Just ridiculous. I decided to reject delivery so they took the couch back.

Then Rhenus sent me an email for delivering for a second time. I accepted it as long as they can deliver to my apartment not in front of the door at ground floor. However this turned out to be even more wasting of my time: They emailed 1 day before for delivery window 14-16pm next day. On the delivery day, the delivery guy called me at 13:02pm saying they want to deliver in 10 minutes. I was out for lunch and just sat down after ordering my food. I said this was out of their acclaimed delivery window but i can be at home in 30 mins. He said okay. Then i had to rush my lunch and was at home in 28 mins actually. Guess what? nobody ever came and at 13:52pm they sent an email saying delivery failed since i was not there. They wanted to re-schedule for another day again. Are you kidding me? I am supposed to work from office today. Because of this delivery, i changed my plan to stay at home. It is you guys tried delivering at out-of-agreed slot first, made me rush through my lunch to be at home, had no show, and in the end stated ‘me’ as the reason for not being able to deliver today. What an unethical practice.

I personally have been working in ecommerce for 10+ years. I know in furniture vertical, delivery is always a pain point for customers. High return of furniture some times is more associated with unsuccessful delivery instead of furniture style itself. And high return kills a lot of profits for furniture brands/companies. I will genuinely advise any furniture companies to do their due diligence well in choosing their last-mile carrier and not choose someone like Rhenus Home due such poor customers experience and high frustration. What Rhenus Home Delivery did is unethical and showed incompetency. Worst of all, it wastes end- customers’ valuable time, and ultimately kills furniture sellers’ profits by multiple deliveries and automatic return due to unsuccessful deliveries.

Unbelieveable!

Unbelieveable! This company DELIBERATELY obstructs any Customer communication. I
have a 90 year old disabled wife and stairlift and the original delivery of Emma Mattress
Ref 601388853-S2 (Date option but NO TIME OPTION) at 6.30 am on 26th June delivery
was refused as unreasonable. No further communication from RHENUS. For THREE
WEEKS Emma tried to find where it had gone, without success. Finally they found it I
opted for delivery tomorrow 24th July A MONTH LATER. This afternoon I receive an email
with Delivery time………6.30 am AGAIN!!!!! The email has phone number 07908673386.
Dial it and immediately the call is REJECTED! The WhatsAp system just say «We are not
able to change the time slot once it has been sent» THERE IS NO OTHER MEANS OF
COMMUNICATING WITH RHENUS. Why on earth do Emma persist in using a Company
who cares so little for their CUSTOMERS

07908673386 leads to a WhatsAp Chatbot that asks questions totally irrelevant to the situation. Rhenus UK refuses to TALK to anyone. They have my number WHY DON’T THEY PHONE ME??????

Useless

Useless. Not happy with these. Supposed to be swapping my Emma mattress and the mattress takes hours to unfold. How am I supposed to sleep on a mattress when they supposed to deliver in the evening. But then never turn up on time. Spoke to the office and she didn’t care. Tracking shows 15/25 and been like that all afternoon. Call office they closed. Call driver refuses to answer my call.

Worst delivery experience ever

Worst delivery experience ever in my life. IKEA charged me €145 for delivery only to be forced by Rhenus delivery executives to carry the item from ground floor to second floor myself. IKEA promises delivery to room of choice which is clearly contradicting with action by Rhenus delivery team. Awful experience with Rhenus. IKEA should change their delivery partner.

Very bad experience

I was waiting for an IKEA delivery from them. I got a call from these guys an hour before they were to reach my place. The driver asked me to send him my address by whatsapp — i sent it to him multiple times and they didnt show up for 2 hours. I tried to reach him but he never answered his phone.
Finally i get a call from him. He still couldnt find my place. He asked me to come out of my house. When I went out, I saw that he was standing on the opposite side of the road (in the middle is a contruction site) and he was shouting at me with anger saying he cannot come to my place. He will leave my articles on that side of the road. He even threw one my article on the road in front of me.
There is a proper main road entry upto my place. Various delivery vans use it all day.
After 3 hours the delivery guys show up at my place and show me their list of addresses. To their benefit, in their paper my address was a little incorrect. However, the guy had called me and asked for my address and location via WhatsApp. I sent it to him several times. All they had to do was follow it. We all could have save 3 hours. The whole time the guy kept shouting at me as if it was my fault. Very rude guys.

I was expecting the delivery van to have some sort of navigation. This guy couldn’t type in the address I sent him. Then I shared him the address via gmaps. He couldn’t follow. Finally, I shared a PIN with my location. Hopefully that’s how they eventually landed up. I don’t know.

Next time anyone gets a call for such a delivery make sure you share a ‘PIN’ of your location.

One star for the poor guy who delivered…

One star for the poor guy who delivered my sofa from Emma who was absolutely sweating cobs! He looked either very unwell or totally up against it. The live tracker rate kicks in when they make the first drop didn’t start until we’ll after my delivery tome was scheduled. My sofa was delivered hours after the scheduled time and the product was damaged. It is hard to say if this was a delivery issue or that its something that’s happened in the packaging warehouse. I had a part missing however I was delivered all parts they were given. I tried calling the number of the driver to check this but there was no answer. Even though the delivery guys were sound I get the feeling this isn’t the most professional operation.
