I recently purchased an IPhone 17 for my partner and wanted to return it within 30 days. The only reason I bought from refurbed was because of their misleading information on their website stating you can return for free within 30 days. Refurbed insisted this issue was between myself and the seller. They are just a marketplace and have no legal responsibility apparently. I live in Ireland and although the refurbed website states returns are free, the seller (merchant as they like saying) will only give me a returns label for an post which is the Irish post service who do not accept lithium batteries so they will not return an iPhone abroad. The seller is refusing to send me any other returns label for a courier and I still haven’t resolved the issue and I still have the phone which I do not want. I have had several emails with refurbed and have called them 6 times and they have done nothing to help. They are very polite and pretend they will help and proceed to do nothing.
If you end up having an issue with refurbed they will not help you! They will insist it has nothing to do with them. They will say ‘they’re here to help’ and proceed to be absolutely useless and waste your time.
To top all of this off, the most recent response from the seller who is ‘CoolKK’ is to offer me a “€50 discount” to keep the phone. I thought they were offering €50 because of all of my time they have wasted on top of refunding me for the phone, but no, It’s just a bribe to keep the phone and leave them alone. This seller also will not speak in English and will only respond in German which I do not speak.
Their whole company and website is misleading. Buy your phone from an actual reputable company. Do not buy from refurbed!
