In 2023/4 I’m finding about 1 in 5 (20%) of eBay purchases to be absolute garbage offered by dodgy sellers who’ll do ANYTHING to avoid their refund/replacement responsibilities (esp. postage). That said, eBay has ALWAYS resolved my issues in a professional, timely and transparent manner.

eBay’s a mixed bag, but I’ve had mostly good experiences. Found a vintage watch I’d been hunting for at a decent price, and the seller was super responsive. Shipping took a bit longer than expected, but it arrived in perfect condition. That said, I’ve learned to double-check seller ratings every time some listings can definitely be misleading.

Bin echt nicht begeistert, aber immer wieder gute Angebote.

Langsam wird wirklich was aus ebay. Die früheren Zeiten voller Betrug und mühsamem, komplizierten Seitenaufbau gehören langsam der Vergangenheit an. Auch die Lieferungen sind sehr schnell.

eBay is awesome. But USPS where my packages all seem to ship through when I buy on eBay is terrible. They never drive past my mailbox which is 30 minutes from my house. I have to either schedule redelivery and specify I want my packages directly to me or pay $20 in gas each time I have to drive into town to get packages. eBay should stop using USPS and have packages shipped by FedEx only. I never have issues with FedEx.

I bought a pill cutter and wrote a 1* review 2 days ago. I am revising my review to 4 *s because ebay came through promptly with a refund for me in spite of the problems i had trying to file a claim.

I cant understand the so -called new system of emails, and i DEPLORE the fact that it is now impossible to talk to someone on the phone. I dont know how much i will use ebay in the future ecause of the negative changes. But i DO appreciate the prompt refund back to my account.

Been using eBay for many years with hardly any problems.
However I do get annoyed by having regularly (every 2-3 weeks) to go through several stages of login in by proving who I am.
Also the «views» on selling items is not correct. This is a minor issue but I rather have no counter than one telling me 0 when I know there have been several people who opened my listing to look at the item ….
eBay can be improved but most of it is working well.

its a really good site to see what the value of items are sold for.
Buyer protection guarantee has helped me out a few times recently. alway refunded no issues

well many complain about them
but for somce countries it’s the best online shop..
if you have other options — better to use them

miles ahead of amazon based on my experience as a seller, buyer and in terms of ethics. literally saved thousands over the years. some items are 60% below market value. just wish they didnt evade federal taxes

I have had good experience with eBay (80 transactions) except in a couple of times.
Has been able to get refunds where appropriate.
If you select sellers wisely l, buying would be a pleasant experience.
