VERY GOOD EBAY.COM’S CUSTOMER SERVICES BUT VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES FROM SURPLUS-BARGAINS, A SELLER ON EBAY.COM!!!!

++FINAL UPDATE ON 11/12/22: After having some initial negative experience with ebay.com’s customer services, I have found out their services have considerably improved. They have recently provided me with very courteous, timely, and effective customer services. At this time, I am very pleased with their customer services. I am only unhappy with their seller Surplus-Bargains’ very poor customer services which have caused me a lot of stress and frustration. Please read all my reviews below to understand my situation with ebay.com and their seller Surplus-Bargains.

++UPDATED ON 11/12/22: For order #25-09106-78092, I asked the seller to return 2 eyeglasses frames that were seriously defective. I ordered 5 frames in this order. Again, the seller was unresponsive to my request. I contacted ebay.com’s customer services a few times about this matter and one customer services representative gave me a full refund for this order. I am very happy with her decision.
++Therefore, I am changing my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars.
++I couldn’t give ebay.com a 5 stars due to some unsatisfactory experience with ebay.com’s customer services at the beginning and the very negative experience with their seller Surplus-Bargains who cancelled one of my orders without my permission and who has blocked me from ordering more eyeglass frames from her product page without a valid reason.

++UPDATED ON 11/11/22: For the order #09-09262-21553, I was not satisfied with all the 3 frames I ordered because they were very defective. Therefore, I requested a return from Surplus-Bargains. This seller didn’t respond to my request. Instead, she asked the ebay.com’s customer service department to help me with this request. Within 24 hours, the ebay.com’s customer services department informed me that they had refunded to my account the full payment of 3 frames due to my dissatisfaction of these products. I didn’t have to return these defective products to them. I am pleased with this accommodation from the ebay.com’s customer service department. Therefore, I am changing the rating of my recent experience with this company from 1 star to 3 stars.
++However, I am keeping my rating of Surplus-Bargains at 1 star because Alexa, the owner of this store has been completely unresponsive to all my emails after she cancelled my order of 4 frames without my permission. In addition, she has removed both my negative feedbacks for 2 orders from her ebay page. In addition, she has listed that she has sold 12 frames when in fact she cancelled my 4 frames order. She should have listed that she has sold only 8 frames. I am the only customer who has purchased these frames (1 style).

++ORIGINAL STORY: I ordered 3 eyeglasses frames with surplus-bargains at ebay.com (Order#09-09262-21553). After I ordered those 3 frames (same style), I ordered 4 more frames to have a larger selection to select the best 5 frames to keep. The seller (Alexa) cancelled my second order without my permission. When I sent her some emails to express my concerns on her unprofessional behavior, she ignored all my emails! When I tried to re-order 4 more frames, she «blocked» me from ordering these frames for no valid reason. I called and sent messages to ebay.com’s customer services 3 or 4 times to express my concerns about this seller and asked them to ask this seller to unblock me. However, no ebay.com’s customer services representatives could help me resolve this problem. One customer services representative told me ebay.com’s customer services couldn’t contact the seller and only the seller could contact the ebay.com’s customer services which didn’t make sense to me. I sent an email to an ebay.com’s customer service representative and Alexa (to both of them together) but neither of them responded to my email. I requested a supervisor to call me twice but no one has called me. Ebay.com’s extremely poor customer services have proven that they are helpless and don’t care about their customers. They work with and allow disrespectful, rude, mean, and unprofessional sellers like Alexa (surplus-bargains) to treat me horribly and discriminate against me without any valid reasons. This is my second time ordering on ebay.com and it is the worst experience I have ever had with online customer services and sellers. I feel humiliated, insulted and disrespected by Alexa from surplus-bargains. I feel disrespected and ignored by ebay.com’s customer services. I feel they are helpless, ineffective, and inefficient.

Contrairement à beaucoup d’avis…

Contrairement à beaucoup d’avis concernant eBay, je suis plutôt satisfait de ce site.
En tant que vendeur particulier, tout est quasiment parfait.
En tant qu’acheteur, il y à parfois quelques «ratés» mais sans grandes conséquences.
Comme souvent dans ces genres de ventes entre particuliers, le problème ne vient pas du site en lui même, mais plutôt de certains vendeurs qui sont soit imprécis, soit négligents, soit mensongés, voire pour certains carrément malhonnêtes ou escrocs.

eBay is a crap shoot at best

eBay is a crap shoot at best. I’ve been a member since 1999. In the beginning eBay was amazing but people were different as well. Internet crime wasn’t so rampant and you could find some great deals and make some serious money. I did for many years buying and selling vintage pro analog equipment. Can’t do that anymore. Nowadays everybody is hip and everybody is a criminal until they’re not. There’s more scam artists than decent honest people anymore. eBay’s policies reflect that so much and it’s very sad, because the costs involved are getting higher and higher to the point where I don’t think it’s worth selling on eBay. But on occasion, I take a chance and buy something. I just bought a MacBook Pro and it’s a fantastic computer! Then again, I recently sold a analog mixing console and the cost involved in selling on eBay were astronomical! I lost so much money and I don’t even want to tell you how much, but it was a lot and I will never do that again. That said, eBay is a sad place and it looks like a Third World country but there are still good people and good buys. You just have to be really careful.

Ebays pretty good, but some bad things too

A lot of bad reviews. EBay’s really good selling electronics, I’ve made a fortune doing so. However there is fraud and other BS that you will end up losing money on. And they don’t care at all about sellers and always side with the buyer. I’ve sold probably 1 million worth on eBay. It’s got some improving to do for sure but I’d say it’s the best market I’ve ever used.

Ottimo sito ma non per i feedback

Compro spesso sugli e-commerce ed eBay tutto sommato funziona bene anche quando mi hanno rimborsato perché dopo un bel pò non mi era arrivato nessun telefono dopo averlo pagato e senza interpellare il servizio clienti che non sò se funzioni o meno…unica pecca è sui feedback che non siano tutti positivi come piacciono a loro…..a me piace dire le cose come stanno realmente e mi esprimo con garbo e ci perdo del tempo a fare le recensioni più plausibili possibili ma nonostante siano proprio loro a mandarmi mail di sollecito per scrivere i feedback poi se uno racconta pure una pecca che può esserci magari in descrizione del prodotto ,loro non la pubblicano…ora se devono accettare solo i fattori positivi è una loro scelta ma allora che non mi disturbino più con richieste di feedback sinceri se poi non li vogliono pubblicare…cmq tutto sommato a parte questo lo trovo un buon sito..grazie…

A part la pertinence des suivis, rien à redire

Je n’ai pas à me plaindre, mes commandes se sont bien déroulées. Le service clients est assez prompt à recontacter autant en tchat que par téléphone quand on en fait la demande.

Par contre, petit conseil à eBay, vérifiez bien que les vendeurs vous adressent les numéros de suivi de leurs expéditions car un vendeur qui dit qu’il a expédié la commande le 1 pour ne pas se prendre un retard alors qu’il l’a expédiée au 4, ça fait un peu désordre.
Pour le reste, rien à redire, d’où ma note assez valorisante.

eBay leuk maar koop slim.

Ik heb over het algemeen goede ervaringen met eBay wel is het verstandig om altijd te betalen met Paypal zodat je ten alle tijden kopersgarantie hebt. Gaat het dan eens mis kan je je daarop beroepen. Ik heb altijd alles ontvangen en als het eens mis ging kreeg ik mijn geld terug via Paypal.

Ik heb geen goede ervaringen met kleding , je kunt de kleding niet voelen en vaak kloppen de maten niet. Kleding is vaak ook van zeer matige kwaliteit.

qui leggo solo commenti irati o disperati,sarà che io sono fortunato, lo uso da 20 anni,ho un feedback da venditore di quasi 400 (zero negativi) mai avuto un problema,il titolo raddoppiato in borsa in 8 anni. si,è meno facile da gestire di qualche tempo fa ma trovi tutto,vendi tutto e a me (essenzialmente venditore) i soldi arrivano presto.

I guess there are some similar stories in the list. I post my own story:

Day 1. I’ve ordered the keyboard for my laptop using eBay from some seller from China.

Day 2. The seller have sent the package to me.

Day 3. I’ve received some spam from ebay…

Day 5. My account got banned. And in the email the ebay explained to me all my orders was cancelled. I can not get refund in the case i want it. I can not rate the seller. I can not buy. I can not sell. And the ban is permanent. And the ebay “made very hard decision” to ban my account. Nice. They charged my credit card but the order was cancelled!

Day 6. I see in my banned account the package continues its way to me and my money was not refunded!

Day 30. Account unblocked.

I’m a seller on ebay~~I’ve been selling…

I’m a seller on ebay~~I’ve been selling for over 24 years. Buyers here complain but from what I’ve seen here they don’t know the proper procedures to navigate ebay to get refunds if things go bad. You say tracking says it was delivered but you didn’t get it? That is not the fault of the seller or ebay~~either you have a thief in your neighborhood or it may have been delivered to the wrong address~~contact your post office or rent a P.O. Box so you can pick up your packages & mail directly at the post office. If both buyers & sellers used the options available correctly they might find they have no problems. As stated~~I’ve been selling (& buying) on ebay for over 24 years & hopefully will have many more years ahead of me here on ebay. I’d like to add that there are as many scammer buyers on ebay as there are sellers. They try to get things free by filing false claims. I used to just refund & let them keep the item but over the last few years I’ve issued return labels to the buyer to return the item they aren’t happy with to get a refund. 9 times out of 10 they never return the item. They were just trying to get a refund & keep the items. A few months ago a buyer contacted me asking if there were scratches on the inside of a casserole dish~~I assured him it was in excellent condition. Within an hour of receiving it he filed a claim saying it was full of scratches. The dish has a coated interior for non stick making it dull & not shiny. I issued the return label but still haven’t received the item but am stuck with a «return request» on my record. I’ve read many of the reviews here & a lot of them could have had a different outcome had the buyer or seller known the correct procedures to follow to solve their problems. I recently had a item not received complaint where the buyer said they didn’t receive the item but tracking showed it was delivered~~I wasn’t required to refund the buyer but ebay issued the buyer a refund with their own funds. Ebay wants happy buyers & usually favor the buyers over the sellers. As a buyer or seller learn the correct procedures & you usually won’t have any problems like the reviews here describe. Send EVERYTHING with tracking even though you have to charge the buyer for ground instead of media mail. Most buyers will pay extra to have tracking so they know the seller actually did send it & they can see when it will be delivered. You have to learn to protect yourself~~ebay can’t protect you when you fail to protect yourself.
