From the very beginning Praga Medica was supportive of our infertility journey. Even with the time difference from Prague to Canada, they were supportive and open with communication. Even though we had a few different representatives from the company once we were in Prague, we felt safe and secure with our decision to do IVF international. Thank you Praga Medica, Becuase of the dedicated staff at the ivf clinic, we are now expecting our first child May 8 2019.

I found the company to be very informative and helpful in answering any questions I had prior to booking my appointment. Once booked they kept me up to date and the week before coming gave me an approximate schedule. On arriving collected from the airport as we went with the upgraded package to take any stress away. Checked into hotel quickly and the staff at the hotel were friendly and informative. Our room was lovely and the breakfast was amazing. We had an evening meal in the hotel and that was also lovely. First day for post op appointment went well, if I could pick out one thing it would be in how late they gave you the appointment for the next day. One appointment was for 2:30 and one for 1:45 and double checked as one included a checkup. Once you were in the pre op waiting area, would have been good to have some relaxing music or something to occupy to take your mind off. When taken through the surgeon was very pleasant and explained what would happen then also as she was doing it, very relaxed and good atmosphere. Third day was pretty much the same as second day, then final checkup on last day. I was concerned my close vision wasn’t as good as used to be and was advised can take up to 4 weeks to adjust. Given medicated drops and given then all clear. The only fault would have been the taxi driver on the day of the post op was unsure of location, however the driver that took us to the airport was from a different company and more than made up for it. Perhaps only use one company as definite difference in service

karoline was very helpful throughout this journey. From my first query she has always checked in and offered to assist in anyway she can. She still checks in as I’m seven weeks post surgery.

I was joined on the day of surgery by a lady named Marketa (I believe, apologies if I got it wrong) who was very friendly and a comfort, as I was there alone.

Overall the experience has been very positive. I’m seven weeks post surgery and I’m still waiting to see the final results before commenting on that however praga medicas service has been really great.

Veronika (person I interacted with pre-trip) was outsanding. Very confident in expertise of Dr Tovarek. Positive outcome from surgery.
Negative: first opthamologist (dont know name) was very pushy in terms of making a quick decision re type of lens 24 hours day before surgery.

From start to finish the experience was great, no issues whatsoever with great communication throughout.
One week on both procedures have been successfully completed without any issues so far.
I haven’t given 5 stars as I felt the general health check carried out in a different clinic was slightly rushed. As someone who suffers with » white coat syndrome » I felt that having blood taken at the same time as your blood pressure wasn’t the best method
Subsequently my BP was through the roof, the interpreter and medical staff persisted, and with the help of some medication it eventually dropped to an acceptable level.
Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending Praga Medical and Jana.

Professional service, pretty affordable prices. Qualification of specialists is under no doubt.
