Initially l was pleased with my double ended tent. But after a little while it became clear that the material is substandard and not fit for purpose it leaks. Tiny areas can be seen where it’s which have no protective coated on. Have been having email conversations back wards and forward supplied photos. Words fail me still no further forward. Avoid

Outdoor portable garage tent purchased, lasted a month. I understand these things aren’t indestructible, but this metal tent bent like a pretzel 20 mins after the wind picked up. The guarantee sent with my invoice was incorrect according to customer service, who continued to reference another guarantee pdf I was not sent. She also basically explained these tents are not fit for wind as they are not tested for this, and i should dismantle the tent any time the weather is not suitable. So despite buying a tent and all the required anchors to hold it down… this still was not fit to be outdoors most the year. Pointless! And despite consistently refusing to accept they sent the wrong guarantee which didn’t back up their view points, they refused to respond when i asked to escalate my complaint.

Absolutely dreadful service. Delivery arrived incomplete, a box was missing and the ones that did arrive were ripped with items sticking out.
When I contacted House of Tents customer service about it they were absolutely dreadful. They weren’t interested at all and couldn’t care less. They just blamed the delivery company and told me to contact them though the missing box would probably turn up the next day. It didn’t. After several emails and daily phone calls to HofT the missing box finally arrived a week later. It was also battered and ripped. When I questioned the delivery driver about it I was told that the items were packed in the wrong boxes so what did I expect.
I have never know a company to have suck shocking customer service staff. Every one of them that I spoke to was rude, and not interested. They all gave me unbelievable excuses regarding the issue I had.
I would never buy from this company again, and I certainly would not recommend them

I have had a number of gazebos over the last 30 years and the two I have had by this company are by far the best. All the other makes have ended up in the bin as they could not cope with the British weather.
I still have 2 of their gazebos, one which is about 6 years old and was fully erected outside for about 3 years as an outside room. The second gazebo has been up for 6 months as an outside shelter for some of our furniture and has survived gales and torrential rain. Well worth the money.

Absolute rubbish, unfit for purpose and they know it. Bracing wires, swaged ends, turnbuckles all failed, obviously not made to any recognised standards. Diagonal braces between roof rubes and side tubes don’t fit, and they come up with a fairy tale that they will fit under the load of the roof sheet. They don’t, by a long way. Door ties fall off even before any wind comes. Eyelets misplaced, rip out, roll up door guides fall apart, etc etc. Not interested in putting it right, for good reason, it would break their business model.

After their response, was I excitedly waiting for replacement parts of good standard including an end panel, as requested ages ago? No, good job as no communication whatever from House of Tents. They know what is needed, just don’t want to do it.

We have purchased three marquees from House of tents over the past 4 years. Each one has been to such a high quality standard. Their service is brilliant with delivery being incredibly speedy.
I recently had to contact their customer support due to a damaged part and they could not have been more helpful, considering the need for the part being urgent for an event they bent over backwards to make sure it would arrive in time.

Ok, I have a 4×3 Metre Sunset Deluxe Gazebo finish constructed in my garden and it looks fantastic. It was relatively simple to build albeit requiring two people and step ladder. I had some damage to two or the roof struts which were quickly replaced but there was one problem requiring a bit of DIY to the roof struts generally and that was the fine milling to one end where a minor section of the aluminium was slightly undercut making it impossible to install roof panels without a bit of filing of the struts. Overall this is an excellent kit which should not disappoint.
I will not be installing the suggested concrete post foundations as I think surface concrete square paving should suffice. Here’s hoping!

Octagonal marquee.
Delivery was prompt, no extra charges. Was a bit worried I’d be stung for import duties as it was a German company, but it was all in the purchase price.
Boxes were severely damaged, but that was the delivery company, not Houseoftents. When I emailed to report the damage they responded promptly, asking us to check for damage or missing parts. Everything was there, but was a couple of small holes in the roof of the marquee. When I sent a photo, they responded quickly and dispatched a replacement immediately. Very impressed with the marquee, which appears very sturdy, and with the communication and customer service, which was excellent. Will definitely buy from them again if I need another marquee.

Tent delivered promptly. Some poles were incorrect, some missing. It took 10 days for this to be resolved properly and I suspect that there was a problem with the suppliers as even the second set they sent me were incorrect. However I am impressed with the design and quality of the tent and suspect it will be durable. It seems sturdy even in windy conditions.
